All Sports Film Festival To Support the Paralyzed Veterans of America (PVA) on Veterans Day

All Sports Film Festival To Support the Paralyzed Veterans of America (PVA) on Veterans Day

In honor of Veterans Day on Monday, November 11th, we are proud to announce our support of the PVA, a non-profit organization whose mission for 67 years has been to provide:

  • Quality health care for their members,
  • Research and education addressing spinal cord injury and dysfunction,
  • Benefits available as a result of their members’ military service,
  • Civil rights and opportunities that maximize member independence.

We have chosen to add a day to the 5th Annual All Sports Los Angeles Film Festival to honor Veterans, and specifically to benefit the Paralyzed Veterans of America during Festival closing ceremonies on November 11, 2013 at the El Portal Theater in North Hollywood, CA.

The benefit will consist of a silent auction, a live auction, and the ceremonies themselves. Patrons will have a chance to meet and greet the “2013 All Sports Film Festival Legendary Athletes Award” recipients Tai Babilonia and Randy Gardner with a donation. Food and drink are included in the ticket price.

All donations made to the PVA between now and Veterans Day will be doubled.

Whether it is a dramatic or comedic piece, the All Sports Los Angeles Film Festival welcomes screenwriters and filmmakers to share their great sports stories. This festival will give sports fanatics an outlet for their love of competition in the medium of cinema.
